Production Blog: We got rained out!!

I had planned to film most of the outdoor scenes today. These scenes were supposed to be shot in a park to give the audience a scary feeling. Because there was no sunlight, my group and I decided to film late at night. Because there was no sunlight, I carried a flashlight so that the camera could record a clear video of the events. Because my partner's house was the closest to the filming location, I met my partner there with the rest of my group. However, one of my partners was stopped in traffic, so the filming time was cut short. I got ready for filming once we arrived at the house at 5:30 p.m. Because I was the main character, I was in every scene, which meant I could not contribute as much to film. My partner and I gathered all the costumes, and I did my own makeup. Before we started filming, I read the script and rehearsed my lines. Most of the scenes were shot in my partner's home and neighborhood, with one scene shot in a park/forest. The main issue was that we only had a short amount of time to film before it became too dark or poured. We needed to buy fake blood to make the murder scene in the movie. We went to CVS to look for the prop. I could not find any fake blood after searching for a while, so my partner went to Target. I checked online to see if it was available, and it was. She arrived at Target and chose the fake blood color I wanted. We drove to the park after she bought the fake blood till it started rainingOnce it started raining, my group and I rushed back to the house. My group and I rescheduled a filming date for Monday when I returned home!
