Finishing filming
After about two hours of filming, we were almost finished. All that was left was the murder scene at the end. When filming, I made sure to take multiple shots, so we could pick the best one out of the couple. The props we used in that scene was our phones. Another prop we needed in the murder scene was the knife. We had to film in the forest. Katie's neighbors gave us a key to enter the park. That was very convenient for us. We needed to film before it got too dark, so we were in a rush. As we got to the park, my phone died. I was using my phone to film every scene. So, Katie's phone was used instead to finish filming the remaining scene. Connor was playing the killer in the film, and in the scene he needed to be holding a knife as a prop. As we got ready to film the scene, we ran into a problem. We forgot the knife! So, we had to think of a solution fast. My partner Katie had the idea to ask her sister to bring it over since she was close by and had a car. Katie's sister drove by and dropped off a knife for us to use. We filmed the scene and used fake blood. It was very sticky and gross. We had a minimal amount of fake blood, so it was hard to make it look realistic. We finally finished filming, and I sent the videos to Connor to begin editing.
